Overside Discharges
Ballast or surface water is not permitted to be discharged on to the quay walls. All discharge should be from the outboard side only.
It is an offence under Section 52 of the Harbour Docks and Piers Act to discharge ballast water contrary to the Harbour Master’s instructions.
