3. Fire Hazards
Back <<<Grain dust will burn! If mixed with air in the correct proportion it can burn violently creating what is normally called a DUST EXPLOSION.
As the port handles oil products, grain and other flammable materials, fires and burning / welding are not permitted without a FIRE PERMIT issued by either the Port’s Engineering or Marine Department.
Smoking is not permitted except in approved areas where appropriate notices are displayed.
