Back <<<Extreme care is required when moving around the docks since docks are working areas where heavy plant, road and rail transport and cranes may be operating. A 20 mph speed limit applies on the dock. Vehicles must not be taken on a quay or other operational area without permission.
There are no guard rails at the quay edge. Care is needed when walking or driving, especially at night.
Keep away from cargo handling operational and do not walk under cranes which are working.
Use the pedestrian walkways where they are so designated.
High visibility clothing must be worn in all areas within the dock fence perimeter, and hard hats in designated areas.
For rabies control reasons, animals are not permitted on the dock.
