Containers

The Container Terminals at Avonmouth and Portbury are well equipped to handle modern container vessels. The Post-Panamax cranes can service vessels up to 17 containers wide and the new Deep Sea Container Terminal will bring containers closer to the UK population than any other deep water port.

Motor Vehicles

Handling up to 700,000 motor vehicles per annum, Bristol's exceptional quality record and motorway and rail connections to the UK are an unbeatable combination for import, export and finishing of motor vehicles.

Bulk Energy Products

With over £120 million invested in equipment, Bristol is well known for handling coal, biomass and liquid energy products quickly and efficiently for a range of energy customers.

Animal Feeds and Grain

Discharging at 2,400 tonnes per hour and with 600m of continuous quay, the Bulk Terminal can accommodate Capesize vessels up to 130,000dwt.  For exporters the computer controlled system can receive grain at 1,000 tonnes per hour to ship, flat storage or silo.  The bulk warehouses have a combined capacity of 200,000 tonnes with swift, efficient onward transit facilities.

Forest Products and Metals

With over 120,000 m2 of modern warehousing adjacent to berths, The Bristol Port Company's undercover storage is ideal for storing high value paper and metal products and we have a range of external storage too.  Tailored IT data give customers the flexible solutions they need.

Fresh Produce

Bristol Port's Fresh Produce Terminal has 17 separate cells each individually temperature controlled and 14,500 pallet spaces.  Stock data is tailored to meet customers' needs and with direct motorway and rail access the Port provides the ideal solution for storage, picking, packing and forwarding of a wide range of ambient and chilled products.
