Sub Nav

The Royal Portbury Dock, with its own direct access to the M5, occupies a unique position on the crossroads of the M5 and M4, and is superbly placed for cost-effective distribution throughout the UK.

This modern, deep water facility can accommodate the largest side or quarter ramp RoRo vessels, with the ability for smaller stern ramp vessels to load/discharge from fixed quay cut–out ramps.

Motor vehicles can be stored on the extensive paved quay areas and delivered to and from the adjacent storage compounds without travelling on public roads. Royal Portbury Dock can accommodate up to six RoRo vessels simultaneously.

The motor vehicle trade has been awarded the International Quality Standard ISO 9002 and today the Company enjoys full certification to ISO 9001:2000.

In 2007, over 650,000 vehicles were handled for a wide range of customers.
