Approvals
The Bristol Port Company holds a UK Border Agency Customs Port Approval and a Type A Public Customs Warehouse approval allowing plywood, liner board, timber, aluminium and steel.
Clearances
The Port handles electronic clearances through the Destin8 [2] system and can provide details of local agents who are Destin8 badge holders if required. Please contact [email protected] [3] for further information.
Compliance
Please note that customers are responsible for notifying HMRC of their specific holdings, ensuring timely releases and otherwise complying with customs procedures. The Port is responsible for notifying HMRC of any compliance issues.
