Demolition work will commence on 16 January 2023 and is expected to last for about 30 weeks, completing by mid-August 2023.

Work will be undertaken by Smiths Gloucester Limited.  They are experienced in this type of project having completed similar works for The Bristol Port Company and others. 

Materials from the building will not be wasted.  Steelwork and reinforcement will be recycled; concrete will be crushed on site and stored until it is used as an aggregate, replacing quarried stone.

Working hours will be 0700 to 1700hrs, Monday to Friday.  There will be no works on this project at weekends or during public holidays.

Measures will be in place to limit, as far as reasonably practicable, all emissions from the site including dust and noise.
